POSITION TITLE: Strategic Account Director (m/f) E-tail EMEA
LOCATION: Frimley near London or Garching near Munich

As Strategic Account Director E-tail EMEA you will drive performance from the e-tail channel in EMEA, including entering into strategic partnerships with identified key e-tail accounts across EMEA. You will work across a variety of own-managed accounts as well as accounts managed by other E-tail Strategic Account Managers across EMEA and ensure Amer Sports e-tail strategy is implemented consistently across EMEA.
  • Driving the consistent implementation of the Amer Sports e-tail strategy, supporting the go-to-market teams to ensure our “Where to play” and “Where not to play” choices are executed in each market.
  • Reporting on the KPIs for each key business driver of our strategy and providing recommendations towards the performance.
  • Understanding market dynamics and e-commerce trends across the region sharing insights to relevant teams to influence future strategic choices.
  • Driving wholesale and B2C e-commerce collaboration, sharing best practice learnings and utilising e-commerce capability to support hybrid e-tail business models like marketplaces / Click & Collect.
  • Supporting the E-tail Strategic Account Managers (SAM) in delivering joint business plans with the top e-tail accounts, taking an active role in leading complex negotiations on selected accounts.
  • Supporting the Strategic Account Director and Territory General Managers in setting targets during the business planning and budgeting process.
  • Support the E-tail SAMs in delivering the channel targets.
  • Taking direct ownership for selected accounts and supporting the Top-2-Top business reviews.
  • Supporting the VP Strategic Accounts EMEA in leading the SAM community and sharing best practice examples to improve our online business across all key accounts. 
  • Providing functional leadership and guidance towards the E-tail Strategic and National Account Managers.
  • Supporting the channel management specialist to ensure our online and distribution policies are adhered to within the region.
  • Negotiating terms for any 3rd party service providers towards our e-tail business.
  • Working with e-tail trade marketing executives to ensure our brands are prominently displayed with content befitting our premium positioning.
  • Reviewing the e-tail trade marketing plans to ensure we gain more than our fair share of voice and visibility across our top e-tail customers.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business relevant field or equivalent or corporate development programs of excellent quality.
  • Min. 10 years’ experience in sales and/or commercial field with strong experience in developing brands in the e-tail channel.
  • Experience and strong skills in leadership and communication with internal and external stakeholders within a complex environment.
  • International experience in working across or in parts of the EMEA region.
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills.
