POSITION TITLE: Senior Project Manager Logistics (m/f/d)
LOCATION: Any Amer Sports Office in Europe, hybrid with home office

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Join our team as a Senior Project Manager for Logistics, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving our transformation strategy from a B2B driven to a D2C focused business. Your mission includes:

• Enabling growth
• Shaping warehouse strategy
• Enhancing warehouse automation
• Accelerating customer delivery
• Optimizing cost and service quality

As a key team member, you'll oversee multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to execution, closely collaborating with operational teams and top management.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own project concept and business case
• Define project timeline, scope, risks, and mitigation plans
• Manage project resources and drive execution
• Monitor project progress and communicate effectively
• Facilitate change management and stakeholder alignment
• Evaluate project success and recommend improvements
• Oversee consultancy firms when needed
• Scope of action primarily in Europe, with potential for global projects in North America and Asia

YOUR RUNDOWN:
• Minimum of 10 years' professional experience in project management (preferably in Logistics/Warehousing/Transportation) or leadership in logistic warehouse management
• Knowledge of real estate and/or IT projects
• Familiarity with 3PL warehouse providers and contract logistics
• Master Degree (Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering) or bachelor’s degree with extended experience


REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:
• Strong project management skills
• Expertise in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Warehousing, or Intra-Logistics
• Fluent in English and German (French a plus)
• Proficient in data analysis and interpretation – analytical mindset
• IT proficiency (MS Office, Power BI, WMS experience a plus)
• Knowledge of Lean management and continuous improvement
• Project Management Certification (e.g., PMI Standard a plus)
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to navigate complex processes and diverse stakeholders
• Experience with intercultural teams
• Flexibility for travel
