PRODUCT DESIGN INTERNSHIP APPAREL AND GEAR (M/F/D)

Become part of the Atomic ski family, and combine both your passions, for apparel design and snow sports within your internship.

KEY MISSION AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Assistance to product management- & development activities:

• Creation- & maintenance of design tech packs, following the seasonal product development cycle
• Ongoing update of design-related information in PLM software (Centric)
• Supportive hand sketching during workshops and visualization of design ideas
• Preparation of design-related workshops
• Assistance during product reviews and fit sessions
• Supportive role in communication with external design- & development partners

Additional design-specific activities, as part of Atomic’s cross-category design community:
• Contribution to continuous development of global Atomic design language, and specific implementation of thereof into apparel and gear products
• Seasonal trend research (colors, materials, patterns, graphics & prints…)

YOUR PROFILE AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• Passionate about performance apparel products, skiing, and the greater outdoors
• Studies and/or professional experience in the design of technical outerwear, sportswear- or fashion design, or related fields
• Basic understanding of textile technology, materials, garment construction, manufacturing processes, size grading, fitting, and technical applications
• Experienced Adobe User (Creative Suite); Illustrator, Photoshop, etc.
• Sound MS Office skills (Power Point, Excel, Word)
• Business-fluent English skills required; additional German language skill preferred
• Curious mindset and entrepreneurial attitude
• Self-motivated, creative team player with a pro-active and collaborative working style

The duration of the internship depends on your qualifications and the purpose of your internship or training. The longer you are with us, the more insight you can gain into everyday working life. However, a minimum duration of 4 months is required. The maximum duration is 6 months.
