POSITION TITLE: Logistics Project Manager (m/f/d)
LOCATION: Munich/Germany possible also in Überherrn /Germany 


POSITION:

As a Logistics Project Manager, you will drive Distribution- and Transportation projects based on our strategy for Distribution and Transportation, using a solid project management approach to:
- Enable growth
- Define degree of automation used in warehouses and delivery centers
- Improve speed to customer
- Channel transformation towards B2C
- Optimize cost & quality of service and D&T processes
You will monitor projects in close relationship with operational teams, from development to execution, and manage project budget issues, risks and KPIs.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Own the concept & business case of the project as well as all the defined demands (quality, cost, deadline)
• Define or contribute to project scope definition, design the master plan, identify risks, propose mitigation plan, contribute to project team creation
• Lead regular project steering committees
• Drive the realization and be responsible for all the project resources (people, budget, final decisions, IT tools and support)
• Monitor the project (cost / timing / risks / prioritization) and drive the related communication
• Define and implement standards for processes, reporting and documentation linked to the project
• Ensure change-management involvement and aligning all stakeholders
• Monitor the project success after the realization / GoLive
• Propose improvement actions & plans for D&T
• Steer involved consultancy companies (if appropriate)
• Scope of action is mostly in Europe, but can be extended to global projects depending on skills and workload

YOUR PROFILE:

• Minimum 5 – 7 years’ professional work experience in project management, preferably in the Logistics, Warehousing and/or Transportation sector
• Master’s degree (in Supply Chain, Logistics or Engineering)
• alternatively bachelor’s degree plus equivalent working experience
• Fluent in English and German both verbal and in writing is a must, basic knowledge in French is a plus
• professional in Microsoft Office, knowledge of SAP or WMS is a plus
