INDIRECT PROCUREMENT MANAGER (M/F/D)

In this role you will be responsible for the category management and the strategic sourcing of Marketing & Other Indirect goods and services. You will work with key leaders and stakeholders of Atomic Brand Marketing team to enable spend owners to maximize the value they receive from vendors to meet their objectives and generate sustainable improvements and savings. Furthermore, you will be responsible for procuring other indirect goods and services on site.

KEY MISSION AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• You are directly responsible for the procurement category management of Marketing and other indirect goods and services, and you develop the relevant category strategy, together with relevant stakeholders and Global Indirect Procurement team
• You are responsible for the strategic procurement of Marketing goods and services for Atomic, with an emphasis on the sub-categories’ media, marketing agencies, market research
• You continuously monitor and analyze the relevant marketing supplier and agency markets to identify further improvement opportunities and create value for the business
• You oversee all indirect procurement categories, and you work in close cooperation with senior leaders and stakeholders from respective functions and countries on related procurement projects
• You focus on a sustainable optimization of the profit contribution of strategic procurement activities
• You manage relationships with major external partners for the categories in scope
• You interact with relevant procurement roles in different countries to share knowledge, gather requirements, and identify category specific improvement opportunities
• You are involved in procurement excellence & development projects that allow you to be an active contributor to the development of our Global Indirect Procurement organization
• You are accountable for localization of the global procurement policy and procedures
• You provide guidance to internal stakeholders on procurement process


YOUR PROFILE AND REQUIRED COMPETENCIES:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Business Process Management, Finance, STEM, Marketing, or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in the procurement field or comparable experience, ideally in a global company with a comparable size and complexity as Amer Sports

• Experience in working effectively in a greenfield environment is a plus
• Deep category management framework understanding
• Experience in developing and implementing procurement category strategies
• Deep knowledge of procurement and sourcing strategies
• Experience in leading negotiations, good track record of delivering sustainable improvements and savings
• Experience in contract management
• Experience in leading RFx projects and marketing tenders
• Experience in SAP Ariba P2P, MS products, Contract Management tools, eSourcing tools
• Business fluent in English and German
• Ability to communicate effectively and persuasively across a diverse set of stakeholders
• Comfortable in working in a matrix organization
• Flexibility and willingness to travel

Remuneration is based on the collective agreement for employees in Austrian Wood Industry.
