POSITION TITLE: Business Controller Amer Sports Supply Chain (m/f/d)
LOCATION: Garching near Munich, Germany

As Business Controller Amer Sports Supply Chain (AS SC) you conduct operational Performance Controlling for all Supply Chain relevant P&L and BS items; support budgeting and forecasting processes, train managers and operational people in their financial management. The main responsibility areas will be operational support and project steering.

• Be an active part of the global AS SC finance team and support the regional & functional teams in all finance related topics
• Educates managers on finance processes and systems
• Support the month end and year end closings by supervising and working closely together with our shared service centre
• Conduct analysis on Distribution, Supply Chain and Transportation cost and cooperate with management to find opportunities for improvement
• Consolidate the global D&T cost report in BI/Qlik Sense with an increase in automated reporting
• Monitor and evaluate the OPEX spending and take actions if necessary
• Evaluate investments for the Distribution CENTRES (DC) and function as a sparring partner for the DC Managers
• Be an active contributor in the inventory management team and conduct analysis, action plans and follow up activities
• Drive improvements within the Controlling team in planning and financial reporting processes and tools
• Support the Global Quality team in collection and analysing the Cost of Quality
• Support the Global Supply Chain management team in Inventory and other KPI reporting
• Directly owns projects in connection with Finance, supporting Global AS SC transparency and efficiency programs

• Degree (MA, BA or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or Business Management with focus on Finance and/or controlling
• Fluent in English
• Good knowledge of IT systems (Microsoft office, SAP, BI, Qlik Sense)
• Profound knowledge of finance management, analytical skills, ability to work in an intercultural environment and effective communication and partnering skills
• Minimum 3 to 5 years professional experience in a similar function
• Experience in a supply chain or industrial environment is a plus
