Atomic is seeking a highly motivated, passionate, and analytical Digital Communication Manager to join our Digital Marketing team in Altenmarkt. You will form a key part of the Atomic Global Marketing team and will report to the Head of Digital Marketing. This role is principally responsible for orientating our communication across all
owned digital channels at Global and Regional levels. This role has both strategic and executional components, it is accountable for communicating the direction of digital marketing and ensuring campaigns are fully optimized. The Digital Communication Manager also manages digital marketing programs across the Digital Marketing Team.


• Lead, drive and manage our Digital Communication efforts across all channels
• Planning Digital Marketing campaigns, including web, SEO/SEM, email, social media and display

• Lead communication of global digital plan to Regional Marketing leads on a seasonal, monthly, and weekly basis and collaborate with agencies and manage relationships develop a close working relationship across a range of teams to optimize our digital business
• Provide regional feedback to the Global Marketing Team on a weekly basis
• Ownership of development, and optimization of key digital marketing campaigns
• Communicate technical information to a non-technical audience
• Analyzing business operations, systems, and applications to improve efficiency
• Identifying commercial opportunity areas as well as risks and taking an active role in delivering solutions to these challenges
• Uncovering audience and market insights to build a strategic approach and to develop appropriate messaging briefs
• Troubleshooting existing projects– bringing more consultative expertise to resolve marketing challenges
• Building key relationships with key product and sales internal teams to develop stronger knowledge and more defined value propositions
• Supporting the creative team to develop content by providing iterative feedback and relevance to audience and strategy
• Seeking out competitor and market insights to provide recommendations to the stakeholders


• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field
• A minimum of 5+ years working experience in digital marketing or advertising position and experience in the Outdoor industry would be beneficial. A passion for the outdoors is critical
• In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, highly creative, best practices and excellent website analytical abilities (e.g., Google Adobe Analytics, Omniture, etc.)
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
• Up-to-date on the latest trends and technologies in digital marketing
• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments
• Demonstrable experience managing SEO, marketing databases, email, social media.
• Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on all major search engines

Compensation for this position is subject to the collective agreement for employees in the wood processing industry. Depending on your personal qualifications and vocational experience, we offer an appropriate payment in excess thereof for this highly responsible activity and opportunities for development in a globally active group of companies.
