Operations Leader / Keyholder

 

PPOSITION DESCRIPTION:
The Operations Leader will work closely with the Assistant Store Manager and Store Manager to complete operational duties for the store. The Operations Leader will support the Store Team in achieving customer service and sales goals, monitoring expenses, creating and executing a smooth freight flow process and ensuring the store follows appropriate processes and procedures, in alignment with company goals and mission.
YOUR PROFILE:

KEY TASKS:

• Assuming opening and closing responsibilities and assisting in the onboarding and training process
• Motivating and developing staff in order to encourage their professional development
• Delegating workload appropriately and effectively
• Acting as a brand ambassador and leveraging the brand service culture and customer experience
• Performing and modelling customer service duties when on the sales floor
• Executing physical inventory annually in conjunction and alignment with the corporate office instructions
• Following the instructions specific to inventory control, shrink, loss prevention plans, paperwork flow, and timeliness of reporting receipt of goods, inventory transfers and other related inventory matters
• Working with the Assistant Store Manager and Visual Merchandiser to ensure timely flow of inventory to the sales floor and stock room, to optimize sales
• Working with the Visual Merchandiser to plan for seasonal changes, off price events and DM product 
• Ensure warranties, damaged, and defective merchandise is completed bi-weekly and/or shipped to HQ for repair. Maintaining organized files for customer communication.
• Ensuring that the store is in compliance with all State and Federal laws, including wage and hour, human rights and equal employment opportunities
• Maintaining safe working conditions for employees and customers

YOUR PROFILE:

• You will have 2 - 5 years management experience in retail, preferably within the sports industry
• You have outstanding communication skills and ability to motivate the team
• You have high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• You have previous experience with cash handling
• You are passionate about sports
• You have good level of English
• You have good command of MS Office
