The Business Analyst is responsible for bridging the gap between IT and the Winter Sports Equipment business using data analytics to assess processes, determine requirements and deliver data-driven recommendations and reports to executives and stakeholders. The primary focus of this role is the ongoing definition and development of reporting and analytics of the Winter Sports Equipment business and to support and manage projects accordingly.

Data analytics for business relevant data along Winter Sports Equipment value chain (such as Sales, Demand & Supply, Inventory)

• Master current business management tools (incl. Hyperion, SAP/BI, GRM, Qlk, SAC) and develop easy to use analyzing tools
• Develop standard reports and executive dashboards to track business progress
• Translate stakeholder reporting / metric requirements into reports
• Master the IT systems and data sources to collect and distribute accurate figures to the Management
• Monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements
• Automate data / reports where possible to make the reporting processes more efficient and less manual
• Data interpretation, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports as well as analysis and insight into exceptions

Data Visualization
• Expert in translating statistical data in ways that are useful for both subject matter experts as well as business users
• Present large amounts of information in ways that are universally understandable or easy to interpret and spot patterns, trends and correlations
• Create and edit visual content including maps, charts and graphs
• Transform data sets, quantitative and qualitative analysis into compelling visuals
• Provide visual, technical and editorial guidance


To be successful in this role, you have proven experience in a similar role and need to be comfortable working in a fast paced and agile environment. You have a strong ability to collect, organize, analyze and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy and you are able to present reporting and dashboards of a high standard. An aptitude and desire to learn new competencies and skills along with enthusiasm to creatively research and implement new solutions will be highly regarded. You need to have demonstrable experience owning requirements gathering, analysis, documentation, development of requirements traceability and acceptance criteria. Furthermore, you have excellent communication skills in order to discuss technical concepts with a non-technical audience.

In addition
• Background in Business or Engineering (a good affinity with numbers is mandatory)
• 2 years of working experience with Qlik or other data visualization tools (Power Bi; Tableau; SAP Analytics Cloud…)
• Knowledge of IT software (SAP, BI, SAP Analytics Cloud, Qlk, Excel)
• Excellent communication skills in a multicultural organization
