POSITION TITLE: (Senior) Data Analyst Qlik
LOCATION: Garching near Munich, Germany

As a Data Analyst - Qlik, you are a key player to gain essential business insights out of data. You will be the expert to deliver analytics and BI services to serve the needs of Amer Sports globally using technology, process, and people best practices to help the adoption of a data-driven culture.
  • Working with multiple IT and Product Owner stakeholders to interpret data analytics & BI needs and priorities
  • Responsible for defining and building the data model for analytics needs in Qlik
  • Monitoring and optimizing existing front-end applications
  • Playing a key role in the further evolution of Qlik and modern reporting by using the latest technologies
  • Taking over responsibility for dashboard developing within project methodology SCRUM as well as long term development roadmap
  • Assisting and training key users working on Qlik
  • Creation of documentation of central elements together with business stakeholders
  • Participating in regressions’ tests for platform upgrades
For up to 30% of your work-time, you will support with the following tasks:
  • Taking over 2nd/3rd level support
  • Taking over work as a Data Engineer if necessary
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience and education
  • Minimum of 2 years of technical development experience on Qlik
  • Strong and thorough understanding of data analytics
  • Data Warehouse modeling skills based on Qlik
  • Retail and/or sporting goods industry experience preferred
  • Fluent communication skills in English and German
  • Helpful background: SAP BW knowledge or design background
  • Ability to evaluate technical systems performance and make recommendations for improvements
  • Planning and formulating technical solutions
  • Strong strategic, analytical, quantitative & problem-solving skills
  • Data analytics systems and tool development
  • Agile team work skills, familiarity with Agile processes
