POSITION TITLE: Financial Controller
LOCATION: Garching near Munich, Germany

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
  • Financial policy execution and development
  • Internal control policy execution and development
  • Preparation of financial statements according to IFRS and HGB
  • Preparation and documentation of monthly and yearly internal reporting
  • Review of monthly financial statements in SAP and Hyperion, close cooperation with business controlling and business management
  • Support audits (esp. statutory and tax audits)
  • Participate in project work based on further development of accounting and finance processes
  • Support for external reporting (statistics, transfer price documentation, tax reporting)
  • Support in tax compliance
  • Observe changes in local legislation and initiate changes and improvements
  • Local finance tasks (administration / contract management)
  • Ad hoc tasks in the areas of accounting, reporting and taxes
  • Point of contact internally

YOUR PROFILE:
  • University degree (preferably in Finance or Business Administration)
  • 3+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience in an international environment
  • Experience with general ledger functions and month end / year end closing processes
  • Excellent knowledge of HGB / IFRS
  • High level of system and PC skills (SAP, Microsoft office, esp. Excel)
  • Language skills: German and English (fluent speaking and writing)
