POSITION TITLE: Area Sales Manager Ireland - Wilson Golf
LOCATION: Ireland, Field based

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As Area Sales Manager Ireland you will drive sales to achieve significant sales targets for your BA, acting as business partner with your accounts. You will build partnerships with key specialty sporting goods retailers by developing joint plans to serve the consumer that benefit both the retailer and Amer Sports.
  • Developing a seasonal ’Game Plan’ to develop Amer Sports’ & key specialty dealers´ business in key markets, with omni focus.
  • Creating and presenting plans to accounts to develop key categories, drive sell-thru, and engage with consumers.
  • Building a joint business and consumer plan with assigned premium partners that deliver on key strategic objectives of Amer Sports and maximizing consumer preference at the specialty retailer.
  • Delivering profitable and sustainable growth with the retailer.
  • Utilizing Amer Sports’ trade marketing/sell thru programs Coordination with the other internal customer contacts.
  • Training Shop Pros and managing consumers events/demo in key doors not visited by a Sports Tech Rep.
  • Participating in store consumer events.
  • Coordinating yearly consumer and marketing plan for Premium Partners.
  • Sharing best practice across sales team, including ASM’s on other brands in area. Serving as an active participant in Amer Sports portfolio meetings, contributing to the skill development of the entire team.
  • Where appropriate, managing hand over of accounts cultivated by Smart Service Reps into own field accounts; optimizing hand-off.
  • Collaborating closely with smart service team & customer service, ensuring all points of contact with customers achieve Amer Sports high standard of customer care.
YOUR PROFILE:
  • 5+ years in a similar selling role with account management focus
  • High school level education minimum / Degree level ideally
  • Good digital skills
  • Good knowledge of IT systems
  • Microsoft office – particularly strong excel skills
  • Extensive spreadsheet analysis experience with strong mathematical abilities
  • Fluent English
  • Drivers license and willingness to travel
