POSITION TITLE: EMEA GTM Head of Learning and Talent Development (m/f/d)
LOCATION: Garching bei München

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As EMEA GTM Head of Learning and Talent Development, you will provide leadership and direction in the development and delivery of strategies and learning solutions that drive our performance, shape the culture of the organization, and ensure successful execution of strategic business objectives. You will oversee talent development and succession planning strategies and systems to ensure bench strength at the right level. You will partner closely with the business leadership and Senior HRBPs on achieving Amer Sports EMEA business goals.
  • Understanding the business strategies, high level business opportunities and challenges.
  • Ensuring that the day-to-day and long-term efforts of Amer Sports learning and talent development are focused on driving the desired business outcomes in EMEA.
  • Establishing and driving an impactful learning and development strategy and experience at Amer Sports that helps to attract, develop, and retain the best talent in the industry.
  • Recommending business improvements with regards to talent development and selecting appropriate resources to support those objectives.
  • Partnering with HRBPs and business leaders to identify high potential leaders in the development of talent pipelines. Ensuring EMEA GTM has the right talent at the right time and facilitating strong succession planning for key roles. 
  • Building and deploying learning and development practice that enables our teams and organizations to continuously improve their performance and rapidly respond to changes in market realities facing the business.
  • Partnering and consulting across the organization to design and deliver high-impact, multi-faceted solutions that drive desired business outcomes and increase productivity at the same time.
  • Ensuring that learning and development programs and interventions are business-focused, cost-optimized, and sustainable over the long-term.
  • Ensuring successful implementation of all learning and organizational development efforts, developing and using analytics to determine business impact.
  • Ensuring the optimal mix of internal resources and external partners, maximizing the value of Amer Sports spend and time resources.
  • Liaising with Amer Sports HQ and other Amer Sports entities HR on learning and talent development initiatives or programs to identify/incorporate best practices and to maximize efficiency.
  • Evaluating, identifying, negotiating and managing all external training/development resources in EMEA GTM.
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Preferred Qualifications: MBA or Masters
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ experience in a Learning & Development or Talent Management role
  • Change management & business transformation experience
  • Background in facilitating, designing curriculum and initiatives, and evaluating results of required training
  • Experience of Coaching & Executive Development
  • Multi-national brand or sales organization experience preferred
  • Evidence of delivering results in an international matrixed environment with many key stakeholders
  • Passion for sports and sport brands
