POSITION TITLE: Area Sales Manager Salomon Soft (Apparel/Gear/Footwear)
LOCATION: Toulouse

As Area Sales Manager Salomon Soft, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Salomon products within the assigned geographic area, product range, or list of customer accounts to achieve significant sales targets.
  • Achieving the seasonal sales and distribution targets in the defined territory.
  • Meeting the seasonal key product category objectives in sales and distribution.
  • Developing a local plan to follow Salomon brand guidelines, strategies and priorities.
  • Identifying territory sales, distribution and promotion opportunities.
  • Taking care of the customer relationship both for the commercial and accounting aspects.
  • Collaborating strongly with assigned geographic area Agents in order to be active in the hand over in distribution, strategies and targets.
  • Developing and maintaining close cooperation with Salomon.
  • Developing and maintaining great working relationships with key personnel in each account.
  • Maximizing in-person contact and sales coverage with territory accounts.
  • Increasing and maximizing Salomon in-store brand presence and image with both customers and consumers.
  • Negotiating in-shop space and “developing” layouts/merchandising concepts for accounts to ensure brand visibility.
  • Analyzing and reporting competitors distribution, in-store presence and offers.
  • On seasonal basis preparing and reviewing customer performance report.
  • Keeping Field Sales Manager informed of trade related information on an ongoing basis.
  • Completing all reports and records required and submit on a timely basis.
  • High school degree
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales, apparel expertise, strong experience in the Sports and Outdoor Industry
  • Ability to drive sales as a package of product, brand, insights, in-store & marketing that enables the retailer to succeed
