We are looking for a

Dive Global Commercial Director

to lead our Dive business. The role is based in Vantaa.

Key responsibility:

As a Dive Global Commercial Director your main responsibility is to develop a global strategy for Dive Business, secure sufficiency of innovation pipeline to business ambitions, lead the commercial activities and renewal of Suunto Dive Go-To-Market execution. You will be responsible for delivering annual sales and profitability targets.

Other relevant responsibilities include:
 
  • Drive commercial renewal in Dive channels and online transformation
  • Lead distributors and guide Amer Sports go-to-market organization effectively and efficiently
  • Establish sales, margin, pricing, distribution and portfolio targets and plans across markets and channels
  • Lead, coach and develop Dive business team and provide professional development opportunities for all team members
  • Ensure Suunto wins with consumer at point of sales
  • Develop collaborative working relationships in the matrix organization in pursuit of overall business goals
  • Contribute to the leadership and continuous improvement of Suunto

You collaborate closely with Design, R&D, Development, & Sourcing functions as well as commercial teams in Amer Sports GTM organization. Director, Dive reports to the Suunto General Manager.

What we expect from the candidate

You must have deep expertise in collaborating and developing relationships in eTail/digital commercial ecosystems and other distribution channels. It is critical that you understand how these ecosystems and channels operate and what are the key success factors and commercial arrangements to win.

You must have multiple years of substantial experience in international commercial leadership and distributor management roles with strategy, revenue and profitability responsibility.

You have an excellent business acumen and strong commercial drive. You are results oriented and have passion to win. You demonstrate growth mind-set and drive your initiatives with enthusiasm.

You are curious and development minded. You value consumer and customer insights.

You are able to win the hearts and minds of your team members as well as our partners and customers. You are a team player and you are ready to roll up the sleeves and to get work done.

Experience in working in international matrix organizations is useful. You are a good communicator and strong influencer. Fluent English is needed to perform in the role. The role required frequent travel. 

We expect you to be familiar with dive products and diving itself. Won’t harm if sports in general are close to your heart.
