POSITION TITLE: Influencer Marketing Management Executive Golf
LOCATION: Frimley, Surrey

As Influencer Marketing Management Executive you will be primarily responsible for the planning and execution of the golf specialist Demo program and Shop-pro training at key accounts including American Golf. Activities include attending Demo events in the South of UK and organising part-time tech reps in Central and North UK. Furthermore you will take on responsibility for the Advisory Staff program and the effective implementation of iron custom fit units.

  • Representing Wilson Golf as the product and service offering expert for the UK.
  • Planning and implementing consumer-facing events program, including fitting days and project management of “best” events (i.e. own sponsored events, events with Premium Partners etc.).
  • Planning, leading and delivering quality fitting days, to meet annual targets for number of attendees, number of fitting days, and conversion to purchase ratio. 
  • Leading key customer training with key partners with the aim of driving sell-through via shop pro recommendation.
  • Visiting our key partners and providing shop pro staff experts with training (e-learning, Face to Face product clinics, how to run a fitting day) and growing relationship with them in order to drive brand recommendation.
  • Acting as market knowledge specialist within the local marketing team and closely connecting with sales managers.
  • Coordinating the Wilson Advisory Staff (WAS) community (key contact person, coordinating bookings for events, develop relationship with the WAS).
  • Implementing the consumer / influencer / grassroots strategies from Wilson Golf HQ.
  • Creating, activating and growing influencer community, including using WAS to build up a local scouting network.
  • Being an active part of the IMM / ambassador community, sharing and using best practices.
  • Coordinating incremental social media / viral activation (in coordination with digital marketing manager) through ambassadors, supporting customers with content from the community.
  • Tracking, analysing and reporting the performance of our fitting day campaigns and strategic collaborations.
  • Managing AP&E budget plan.
  • Leading and delivering quality fitting days, to meet annual targets for number of attendees, number of fitting days, and conversion to purchase ratio.
  • Leading key customer training with key partners with the aim of driving sell-through via shop pro recommendation.
  • You have min. 2 years’ experience in the golfing community or overall marketing environment, strong background of the consumer and influencing area
  • You are a golf expert and enthusiast, as well as an active golfer at an experienced level preferably PGA qualified
  • You have gathered first experience in managing external vendors
  • You have made presentations to large audiences (i.e. fitting days, product trainings) and are able to adjust presentation to need of audiences 
  • You have experience in planning, management and evaluation of events
  • You understand “how social media” works and are able to manage and coordinate social media activities
  • You understand the necessity to respect and align processes / activities with local and legal regulations 
  • You know how to work launch monitors (ideally on or multiple of the following: FlightScope / GC2 / GC Quad / Trackman) and have the ability to make recommendations to improve ball flight characteristics.
