POSITION TITLE: Area Sales Manager Wilson Racket & Teamsports South East and London
LOCATION: Field-based (HQ in Frimley)

As Area Sales Manager you will drive sales to achieve significant sales targets for Wilson Tennis Racket, acting as business partner with your accounts. You will build partnerships with key specialty retailers by developing joint plans to serve the consumer that benefit both the retailer and Amer Sports, fulfilling the following tasks and responsibilities:

  • Developing a seasonal action plan to develop Amer Sports’ and key specialty dealers’ business with omni-channel focus.
  • Creating and presenting plans to accounts to develop key categories, drive sell-through, and engaging with consumers.
  • Building a joint business and consumer plan with assigned premium partners that deliver on key strategic objectives of Amer Sports' brands and maximise consumer preference at the specialty retailer.
  • Delivering profitable and sustainable growth with wholesale partners.
  • Utilising Amer Sports’ trade marketing/sell-through programs.
  • Coordinating with the other internal customer contacts and teams, ensuring all points of contact with customers achieve a high standard of customer care.
  • Training retail staff and managing/participating in consumer events/demos.
  • Coordinating yearly consumer and marketing plans.
  • Sharing the best practice across the sales team on other brands in the area.
  • High school level education / degree level of advantage
  • Min. 5 years in a similar B2B selling role with account management focus, preferably within the sports industry
  • Strong knowledge of tennis industry in the territory and a good level tennis player
  • Solid understanding of IT systems and MS Office incl. strong Excel skills
  • Extensive spreadsheet analysis experience with strong mathematical abilities
  • High business acumen and customer value orientation
  • Strong negotiation and solution-selling ability and managing objections
  • Excellent verbal and written English skills
  • Ability to work flexibly around seasonal business needs
  • Living in the South East area or London
  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel
