POSITION TITLE: Regional Commercial Manager (m/f) Wilson Team Sports EMEA
LOCATION: Garching near Munich

As Regional Commercial Manager (m/f) you will be responsible for the commercial leadership of Wilson Team Sports EMEA. You will represent the EMEA market to the global HQ (Team Sports & Baseball), while ensuring implementation of global brand strategy throughout the region and leadership of a dedicated Teamsport sales team.

In the course of realisation of Wilson Team Sports strategy in the region you will:
  • Design the regional commercial strategy in line with global brand strategy to achieve the brand’s sales, market share, distribution and profitability objectives in the region
  • Identify key business drivers, and design plans and KPIs to realise them consistently through B2B and B2C/X/Team channels
  • Develop Commercial proposition, driving compelling value for retailers and consumers
  • Optimise the product mix (range, pricing) and inventory management plans
  • Deploy the strategy through the dedicated-BA sales team and local sales teams
  • Provide support for training the EMEA sales teams on seasonal offering as well as guide and coach the EMEA dedicated Team Sports National Account Manager and Area Sales Managers
  • Provide toolbox and process in line with EMEA Portfolio processes to maximise sales success
  • Monitor achievement of commercial plan and profitability in region
  • Plan and execute specialty retail sales launches, pre-lines and presentations with key accounts in collaboration with local teams
Within the scope of representation of regional needs to global brand organization you will:
  • Collect product range and offering needs by country and channel
  • Support brand organisation to build compelling retail value proposition for B2B and B2C channels
  • Work closely with brand HQ and structure local market needs into regional commercial plan
  • Bachelor's degree in economics or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years relevant Commercial, Sales & Marketing experience with exceptional results
  • Knowledge of different distribution channels, including General Sporting Goods, Mass, Specialty, Etail and B2C
  • Experience in the Team Sports industry (retail, federations, clubs, teams etc.) is a plus
  • Track record in developing, coaching and motivating individuals to superior performance
  • Used to working in a matrix structure and closely with Sales and Marketing Teams
  • Fluent spoken and written English skills, knowledge of another European language is a plus
  • Very good IT skills (MS Office)
