POSITION TITLE: Financial Controller (m/f)
LOCATION: Garching near Munich

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As Financial Controller (m/f) you will become a part of our global Amer Sports Operations (AS OPS) team and you will be responsible for supporting all Amer Sports’ brands in the following duties:
  • Supporting all budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Being an active part of the global AS OPS finance team and supporting the regional teams in all finance related topics.
  • Supporting the month end and year end closings by supervising and working closely together with our shared service center.
  • Carrying out analysis on distribution, supply chain and transportation cost and cooperating with management to find opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the OPEX spending and taking actions if necessary.
  • Evaluating investments for the Distribution Centers (DC) and acting as a sparring partner for the DC Managers.
  • Being an active part in the inventory management team and conducting analysis, action plans and follow-up activities.
  • Driving improvements within the Controlling team in planning and financial reporting processes and tools.
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree preferably in finance or controlling.
  • Min. 2 years of controlling experience, ideally in an international environment.
  • Experience in budgeting and forecasting, as well as reporting and presentation of financial results.
  • Excellent controlling and analytical skills, and a good understanding of accounting processes and operational dependencies.
  • Fluent verbal and written English skills; German knowledge is a plus.
  • High level of system and PC skills (very good in MS Office; SAP R/3 and/or SAP BI is a plus).
  • Passion for sports and willingness to quickly understand the global business model.
  • Strong personality with excellent communication skills.
  • Desire to take on responsibility and confidence to discuss topics with different hierarchy levels.
  • Accurate and quality-driven working style.
  • Pro-active attitude of working in a team.
