POSITION TITLE: Territory Commercial Executive (m/f) SALOMON Winter Sports Equipment
LOCATION: Garching near Munich or Grödig near Salzburg

As Territory Commercial Executive (m/f) you will contribute to developing, localising and coordinating the omni-channel (B2B and B2C) commercial strategy to succeed within the markets, in line with directions from Territory Commercial Manager and EMEA Portfolio strategy. You are responsible for consumer product offers (for categories Alpine, Nordic, Protectives and Snowboard) in assigned market place, bringing the brand’s vision to life at customers and fulfilling the following responsibilities:
  • Implementing in the assigned markets and supporting the Territory Commercial Manager to design the territory commercial strategy, in line with EMEA strategy, to achieve the brand’s sales, market share, distribution and profitability objectives.
  • Planning and preparing detailed plans for growth in the assigned markets by channel, integrating wholesale, e-commerce and retail commercial plans. 
  • Developing the commercial proposition, driving through the commercial toolbox a compelling value for retailers, premium partners, top doors and smart service (in assigned markets) in cooperation with marketing teams in the countries.
  • Implementing guidance of EMEA and Territory Commercial Manager on product range pricing.
  • Deployment of strategy through local sales and marketing teams and providing guidance to local sales teams on seasonal offering (product, price, programs).
  • Localising the toolbox in line with EMEA Portfolio processes and Territory Commercial Manager guidance to maximise sales success by all branded sales representatives.
  • Interacting actively with the Key Account and Area Sales Managers to support the implementation in assigned markets.
  • Monitoring the achievement of the commercial plan and profitability in his assigned markets and reporting to the Territory Commercial Manager to make interventions where necessary.
  • Participating actively in the countries’ strategic seasonal meeting with Country Managers, Field Sales and Strategic Account Managers, Brand Managers and Marketing Manager in assigned markets.
  • Building the product range, recommended assortments and marketing actions for markets under the guidance of the Territory Commercial Manager.
  • Developing the commercial proposition for assigned category together with Territory Commercial Manager.
  • Reporting of market needs to Territory Commercial Manager and feeding the information into Territory commercial plan.
  • Collecting product range and offering needs in the markets.
  • Supporting brand organisation in build compelling retail value proposition for B2B and B2C channels.
  • Working closely with Territory Commercial Manager to ensure plans are in place to meet market needs by channel.
  • Screening, applicating and preparing of local customer and market trends for regional organisation
  • Actively interacting with brand commercial and product management to develop channel and consume right product offer for the territory.
  • Educating local sales and marketing teams in his/her assigned category.
  • Coordinating assigned category within the Amer Sports brand’s network.
  • Successfully completed studies in economics or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 years management experience in a sales and marketing position in branded consumer goods industry with very good knowledge of the Central European markets
  • Experience in commercial management within an international matrix environment
  • Category management experience
  • Initiative and ability to work independently
  • Fluent spoken and written English and German, French skills are advantageous
  • Very good IT skills (MS Office)
