POSITION TITLE: HR Generalist (m/f) Southern Europe

(Fixed-term maternity leave replacement,  
expected to be 8 months from August 2017)
LOCATION: Villefontaine near Lyon

As HR Generalist (m/f) you will be responsible for providing hands-on HR operational support to France as well as managing and coordinating processes in conjunction with the HR Shared Service and outsourced providers for France, Spain and Italy. Working closely with the Senior HR Business Partner to achieve HR operational and strategic objectives, you will be in charge of following tasks and responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Senior HR Business Partner relating to day to day HR matters.
  • Supporting the implementation and organisation of all HR key processes.
  • Acting as an interface with HR Shared Service relating to all relevant processes – payroll, contracts, reference letters etc.
  • Coaching managers on operational processes and systems, including delivering leadership training.
  • Implementing, advising on and ensuring compliance with HR policies and practices.
  • Managing local legal issues in France (with some support for Spain and Italy)
  • Negotiating and agreeing all matters with the Works Council France.
  • Managing employee relations issues, including disciplinary and grievance processes.
  • Managing third party providers (pension/benefits/other outsourced operations).
  • Investigating training needs and plan/deliver training for the South territory in coordination with Senior HR Business Partner.
  • Supporting recruitment processes.
  • Maintaining Workday system.
  • Coordinating on-boarding and exit processes as well as international relocations.
  • Providing first line support for employees and manager queries in conjunction with Shared Service.
  • Degree in personnel management or equivalent
  • Professional HR qualification an advantage
  • Min. 5 years HR experience in an international matrix environment preferred
  • Thorough knowledge of French employment law practices essential, some experience in Italian and Spanish employment law practices an advantage
  • Fluent English and French skills required
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point and Outlook)
