POSITION TITLE: Shopper Marketing Manager (m/f) EMEA
LOCATION: Garching near Munich

As Shopper Marketing Manager (m/f) you will establish and lead excellence in shopper/in-store marketing in EMEA to maximise demand for Amer Sports brands, generate traffic to and conversion in B2C own retail and wholesale trade partner stores.
  • Leading and coordinating the team of customer/shopper marketing managers located in different countries in EMEA.
  • Enabling and overseeing the activation of in-store holistic consumer experience with our B2C and trade doors, particularly with the top European epicentres.
  • Managing shopper/in-store marketing activities with Pan-European key and strategic accounts, as well as identifying and driving consistency and synergies across brands and markets.
  • Providing the toolbox to ensure the quality and consistency of point of purchase materials made available to markets and brands.
  • Owning the in-store excellence program for the sales staff and identifying the KPIs to drive the required quality with trade marketing and in store solutions.
  • Overseeing the execution of the branded space toolbox, as well as the assessment of existing installations and the new openings of shop-in-shop and soft shops across the brands.
  • Being in charge of the activation of visual merchandisers with our own B2C retail stores, our branded spaces with strategic accounts and premium partners, and management of showrooming.
  • Developing and delivering a new concept of showrooming to enable cost reduction and improve service to trade partners.
  • Collaborating with brands, purchasing and finance departments to develop and implement a regional procurement process for all merchandising programs.
  • Managing shopper/in-store marketing activities with top 30+ etailers and click-and-mortar partners and developing the etail toolbox to ensure consistency and quality of consumer experience.
  • Monitoring the execution of branded space within online space of our trade partners
  • Delivering tools for strategic accounts, premium partners and top doors to access our product information and digital campaigns for all brands via an internal platform.
  • Working closely with global and EMEA ecommerce managers to optimise ecommerce for each brand and delivering European digital campaigns.
  • Master’s degree in business with focus on marketing preferred
  • Min. 6 years trade/in store marketing experience for a leading brand in consumer fast moving goods (FMCG, luxury or fashion) or in sporting goods industry, incl. 2 – 3 years retail/store experience and/or strong understanding of customer/shopper marketing
  • Experience of managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders, as well as leading agencies and vendors
  • Fluent verbal and written English skills required; German skills of advantage
  • Understanding of online key business drivers
