POSITION TITLE: National Account Manager Footwear

As National Account Manager Footwear you will be the contact person for strategic key accounts for the footwear category. You will be in charge of product introduction and presentation, as well as sales and preparation, and monitoring of seasonal sales programs to meet key KPIs. Your responsibilities and activities include the following:
  • Professional presentation of the collection and implementation of accompanying sales programs.
  • Providing professional consultation to customer in terms of assortment and sales measures.
  • Intensively supporting defined strategic customers, as well as planning, analysis and monitoring of relevant KPIs. 
  • Ensuring exceptional brand presence in the account stores at the beginning of the season, the introduction of the benefits of the product range to team members.
  • Organising and controlling targeted sell-in and sell-through activities to achieve the sales target and KPIs.
  • Working closely with the regional Commercial Manager and others in the organisation to develop programs and product ranges that uniquely build Amer Sports’ ability to succeed with assigned accounts.
  • Collaborating with the Country Marketing Manager / Branded Space Executive to develop multi-channel accounts into the omni-channel environment.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (MBO or HBO) in a business-related field
  • Min. 3 years of experience in key account management / account management preferably within the sports industry, especially in footwear
  • Fluency in Dutch and English both spoken and written
  • Solid knowledge of MS Office applications, particularly strong Excel skills
  • Working experience within an international matrix environment an advantage
