POSITION TITLE: Business Controller (m/f) Territory Central Europe
LOCATION: Garching near Munich

POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As Business Controller (m/f) you will act as a business partner for two of Amer Sports’ sales organizations in Central Europe (Czech Republic and Poland) fulfilling the following responsibilities:
  • Being in charge of all budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Playing an active part of the local sales and management teams and acting as the first contact for all financial topics.
  • Evaluating investments and business opportunities and acting as a sparring partner for the country manager and territory commercial managers.
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end closings by working closely together with the financial controlling team and the shared service center.
  • Carrying out analysis on product and customer profitability and cooperating with sales management to find opportunities for improvement.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the OPEX spending and taking actions if necessary.
  • Driving improvements within the team in planning and financial reporting processes and tools.
YOUR PROFILE:
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in finance, controlling or business administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of controlling experience, ideally in an international environment.
  • Excellent communication, controlling and analytical skills.
  • Good understanding of accounting processes and operational dependencies.
  • Desire to take on responsibility and confidently discuss topics with country management.
  • High level of system and PC skills (SAP R/3, SAP BI, MS Office).
  • Advanced level of English.
  • German, Czech or Polish language is an advantage.
  • Proactive attitude of working in a team and willingness to drive change and improvements.
  • Accurate and quality-driven working style.
  • Passion for sports is an advantage.
  • Car driving license would be a plus.
